Holy Reboot Batman! Batman '66 Animated Movie Coming

Riddle me this: What will be based on the 1960s Batman TV show starring Adam West and Burt Ward?

A sparrow with a machine gun? Close. A new Batman animated movie starring TV's dynamic duo scheduled to be released in 2016.
Adam West and Burt Ward, stars of the 60s Batman movie and TV show, which ran for three seasons, revealed at the Mad Monster Party Convention that they will be lending their voices to an upcoming animated movie.
Ward, who played Robin, the Boy Wonder, told a crowd that, "You can look forward to a new, animated Batman full-length 90-minute feature coming out on the fiftieth anniversary." He also suggested that more movies may follow. "One of possibly two, but for sure one, that Adam and I are going to be doing the voices for."
 "Why yes. I am free."

Next year will mark the 50th anniversary of the TV show. Batman featured famous guest stars from the Rogue's Gallery including: Frank Gorshin as the Riddler, Vincent Price as Egghead, Julie Newmar as Catwoman, Roddy McDowall as The Bookworm and Caesar Romero, who famously refused to shave his mustache underneath his white pancake makeup, as the Joker.
No word on whether the new movie will feature Bat-Shark Repellent.
The animated movie will likely be released alongside Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in early 2016.
